From the past to present, people all over the world have determined to live together, which is called “get marriage” in another word, so that they depend on for living each other. Nevertheless, some couples are unable to maintain their relationship; therefore they choose divorce, which is one of the solutions to cope with problems between husband and wife. Furthermore, most people think carefully before they get marriage. However, the divorce rates trend to continually increase nowadays, thus it might be argued that divorces can be taken place easier than the past. There are three main causes of divorce: changing woman’s roles, stress in modern living and lack of communication, which are highlighted below.

This study researched over 1.600 marginal and end comments written on 110 first essays by 47 ESL students considering pragmatic goals for and linguistic features of each comment.(2) After this, drafts of each individual essays were examined to observe its influence on students revisions if the changes made in response to the teacher´s feedback to improve the essays. (3) An important part of the comments led to substantive students revision, and that there were particular types of commentary forms more useful than others. (4) The results are suggestions of important implications for L2 writing instruction and future studies on a vital but surprisingly neglected topic. ( 103 words)

a) There is plenty water on the earth. In fact, there is enough water in this planet for everyone to have a huge lake. The trouble is that the water is not always found in the place where it is needed. In addition, much of the water is polluted or salty. Because of these problems there are many people without sufficient water.

b)New oil supplies need to be found to replace those that have been used up. There is a constant search for new oil fields. Oil hunters sink their wells wherever there are signs of oil. Each of these drillings costs thousands and thousands of dollars, and often there is not enough oil to make it profitable. Nevertheless, the seach for new.
Main idea : Hunters always search for new oil fields .
Quakers, a religious group known as the Society of Friends, have always worked for human causes. Before the Civil War in The United States, they were againts slavery and led the movement to help slaves escape from the southern part of The United States and seek freedom in the norther part. Today, they fight hunger and disease around the globe and still aid people fleeing tyranny and war. Their beliefs are based onthe principles of pacifism and simple living.
Main idea: Quakers have always worked for human causes.
